The Richland City Council voted on March 24 to set a public hearing on the Fiscal Year Ending 2027 (FYE27) city budget for April 13 at 6:45 p.m. The council also approved the evening’s agenda and adjourned the special meeting minutes after two minutes in session.
Mayor Pro Tem Steve Pfeifer called the special meeting to order at 6:06 p.m. Council members Joe Adrian, Cyndia Crafton and Jim Gaines were present; Council member Michael T. Hadley was absent. City Clerk Sarah Claeys was present to record proceedings.
Council member Joe Adrian moved to approve the meeting agenda; Jim Gaines seconded the motion. The minutes record “4 ayes” and the motion carried. Later in the session, Jim Gaines moved to set a public hearing on the FYE27 City Budget for April 13 at 6:45 p.m.; Cyndia Crafton seconded. That motion likewise carried with a recorded tally of “4 ayes.” The transcript does not provide an individual roll-call of each member’s vote.
