Canton swears in new mayor; council updates meter fee, adopts fire-billing policy and approves several resolutions

Public Works supervisor Jon Nordsving reported Town Hall repair supplies were purchased, a previously high fecal count at the sewer has been corrected, a new block heater for the generator was purchased, and extra water meters were obtained to replace units that froze.
The consent agenda — including approval of the Dec. 14, 2022 minutes, January disbursements and a waiver of the Town Hall rental fee for an American Red Cross blood drive on Feb. 13 — was approved. The meeting was adjourned at 6:35 p.m.
