An official responded that the township lacks jurisdiction over state roads and that repeated contact with utilities and PennDOT is the practical path to remediation, acknowledging resident frustration but noting limits on direct enforcement for state-owned corridors.
The board approved the award, with counsel to review contract documents and required bonds/insurance before execution. The board then moved to adjourn the special meeting.
