At its Dec. 1 meeting the Denton Board of Trustees approved a set of maintenance equipment purchases and engineering work orders. Trustee Doug Rosekrans moved, seconded by Trustee Amanda Fangmeier, to purchase a sewer inspection camera for $9,330; a spreader sprayer unit for $3,500; and two wind-powered lagoon circulators at $4,850 each. The minutes record the motion carried.
The board also approved Master Agreement Work Orders No. 11 and No. 12 with Olsson for street superintendent and engineering services; Trustee Amanda Fangmeier moved and Trustee Doug Rosekrans seconded that motion, which the minutes record as carried. The minutes do not record a roll-call vote or identify funding reallocation; however the Treasurer’s report presented balances for general, water, sewer and streets funds and a Keno checking balance.
The purchases together total $21,530. The minutes do not specify procurement bids, vendor contract numbers, or whether purchases are capitalized or funded from a particular fund; trustees recorded the approvals by motion with 'motion carried' recorded in the minutes.
