Denton trustees approve $12,030 in grants to five local nonprofits

Representatives from Dollars for Scholars and the Denton Community Historical Society spoke to the board about how they would use the funds; the transcript records that applicants presented their requests and supportive information as part of the board’s grant review.
The board did not specify additional conditions attached to the awards during the meeting. The grants will be disbursed from village funds as approved in the motion.
