Highland council unanimously reappoints trustees, declares surplus equipment and accepts expenditures report

At its June 16 meeting the Highland City Council unanimously approved reappointments to the Library Board and Tree Commission, adopted Bill #25-77/Ordinance #3396 to declare two lime feeder systems surplus, and accepted Expenditures Report #1292.
The Highland City Council on Monday approved a slate of routine motions by unanimous roll call votes.
Council members approved the mayor's reappointments of William Wagner, Justin McLaughlin and Susan Martz to the Library Board of Trustees for three-year terms expiring June 2028. The council also approved reappointments of Kathryn Comish, Thomas Friedrich and Mindy Stoff to the Tree Commission for three-year terms expiring June 2028. Both motions passed on voice and roll-call votes with Councilmembers Klaus, Sloan, Bellm and Napper voting aye and none voting nay.
The council adopted Bill #25-77 (Ordinance #3396), declaring two lime feeder systems from the Water Treatment Plant as surplus and authorizing their sale or disposal. Councilwoman Barbara Bellm moved the ordinance; Councilmember Napper seconded. The motion carried by unanimous roll call.
Councilmembers also accepted Expenditures Report #1292 covering May 31 through June 13, 2025, on a unanimous vote.
All formal votes reported in the minutes were recorded as unanimous (aye votes from Klaus, Sloan, Bellm and Napper). No amendments or dissent were recorded at the meeting.
