The policy presented tracks the statutory steps and specifies staff actions. The board adopted the policy unanimously.
Both actions were procedurally routine: the July 14 cancellation is a schedule decision to allow staff and board members time after heavy budget work, and the SB 707 policy is a compliance step the county must take before July 1.
