Hubbard‑Radcliffe board accepts resignations, approves hires and outlines open positions

Hubbard‑Radcliffe Community School District board members on June 10 approved a series of personnel actions as the district prepares for the 2025–26 school year.
Board President Jacob Bolson called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. During the business portion, the board voted to accept the resignations of paraeducator Yevette Jesse and teacher Della McCrabb and the retirement of paraeducator Cindy McCartney. The motions were moved and seconded by Tracey Rieks and Marty Eide and carried.
The board also approved employment contracts for Claire Winter (teacher) and Seth Last (full‑time bus driver/part‑time paraeducator); Tracey Rieks moved the motion, Kelli Miller seconded, and the motion carried. The board granted an FMLA leave request for Lily Ellingson after a motion by Rieks and a second by Miller; that motion carried as well.
Elementary Principal Brian Mangold reported a strong finish to the school year. Principal Kevin Henrichs said student attendance improved this year and that he is working with Crystal Reinertson to ensure a smooth transition for the incoming principal. Superintendent Adam Zellmer said his goal is "to try to leave the district in a better place than when he came," and that he has been coordinating transition plans with staff.
Dr. Zellmer told the board several positions remain open for 2025–26 but did not list specific titles in the meeting minutes.
The board adjourned at 8:13 p.m.; its next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 21, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Radcliffe School Library.
