The Greenfield City Council voted to schedule a joint meeting with the planning commission on Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. to kick off the municipality's comprehensive plan process.
Council Member Daniel said the joint meeting date corresponds with the planning commission's regular meeting and that the session will include an overview from staff on the process and timeline for the next two years. "The focus of that meeting is going to be kind of our comprehensive plan kickoff," he said.
Members noted calendar implications: with the joint meeting set for Feb. 10 the council will meet in close succession (a council meeting on the 3rd will be moved to Feb. 2 because of caucus scheduling). The motion to schedule the joint meeting was moved, seconded and carried on a voice vote.
Staff (Scott) and planning commissioners were identified as the expected presenters; no formal action beyond scheduling was taken.
