East Rockhill approves Pennridge Greenjackets lease, LED update; authorizes 2024 audit and approves bills

At its Dec. 17 meeting the East Rockhill Township Board of Supervisors authorized several administrative items including a multi-year lease, a lighting update, a 2024 audit engagement and routine bill payments.
Township Manager Marianne Hart Morano presented a lease executed by the Pennridge Greenjackets covering Jan. 1, 2025, through Dec. 31, 2029, a sign permit application, and a proposal to replace field lights with LED fixtures at the practice football field at Willard H. Markey Centennial Park. The board authorized the Chair to execute the lease and the sign application and approved the LED update on the condition that existing security cameras not be disturbed and that the lights be turned off by 10:00 PM.
The board also reviewed an audit engagement letter from DunlapSLK for the 2024 audit and authorized execution provided the fee does not exceed $22,500. Earlier in the meeting the board approved the bills payable list dated Dec. 12, 2024 for $170,146.28 and accepted routine department and emergency services reports.
During public comment, resident Jim Snyder thanked the township for prompt attention to roundabout concerns. Greg Landis, speaking for Renew Bible Church, announced Christmas Eve services at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM with traffic control, and said lights were expected to remain on until about 8:30 PM.
