Board authorizes $804,025 in Park Hill Estates escrow releases; updates on culvert study and leaf collection

The Board approved Escrow Release Voucher 3 ($730,932.51) and Voucher 4 ($73,093.25) payable to Select Properties for Park Hill Estates work, heard that the Stone Edge Culvert hydraulic study is underway, and received a public-works update including 75 leaf-collection loads to date and sale of a 2005 GMC truck for $12,200.
The East Rockhill Township Board authorized two escrow-release vouchers for Park Hill Estates at its Nov. 26 meeting.
On motion the board approved Escrow Release Voucher 3 in the amount of $730,932.51 payable to Select Properties for work including erosion and sediment control, Old Bethlehem Pike, Hill Road, base paving and related items; the board also approved Escrow Release Voucher 4 for $73,093.25 payable to Select Properties for contingency for completed work. The two vouchers total $804,025.76.
Township Engineer Steve Baluh told the board the hydraulic study for the Stone Edge Culvert redesign is underway. Public Works Director Jeff Scholl reported 75 loads of leaves had been collected to date, that the township is seeking another location to accept leaves because the current site is nearing capacity, and that a 2005 GMC truck sold on Municibid for $12,200.
Resident Lou DiTonno asked about the status of the Stone Edge Culvert redesign; the board reported the hydraulic study is being done by Traffic, Planning and Design and expected follow-up will occur in 2025.
