It also approved recommendation to purchase a used 12-passenger van from Nielsen Motors for $48,000 and later approved a new multipurpose passenger vehicle from Nielsen Motors for $67,400 for the 2026–2027 school year.
The board approved an iJAG memorandum of understanding for 2026–2027. The agenda also showed approval of summer music contracts. All motions carried unanimously among members present.
On policy matters, the board approved an extensive set of buildings, sites and facilities policies for first reading (Policies 800–804 and related regulations) and separately approved numerous policies on equal educational opportunity, student transportation, school nutrition, technology and responsible technology use for second and final reading (Policies 102, 710, 711, 712, 713 and numerous exhibits/regulations).
President Tate Satern reviewed board correspondence, including a thank-you from Meals for the Heartland, before adjourning the meeting.
