Select Board approves two one-day alcohol licenses and multiple easements

The Select Board voted 3-1 to grant two one-day wine/malt licenses for Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School fundraisers and voted unanimously to accept and execute several Grants of Easement related to sewer facilities, recorded at the Essex South Registry District of the Land Court.
At its Feb. 3 meeting the Danvers Select Board approved two one-day wine-and-malt licenses for Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School events at the Larkin Center. The Board voted 3-1 on each license (Select Board Member Michael Bean opposed). The first license was for Comedy Night on March 7, 2026, permitting liquor service until 9 p.m. with the event ending at 10 p.m.; the second was for the Hike for a Change event on May 30, 2026. Both events will be serviced by Vinwood Caterer.
Separately, the Board voted unanimously (4-0) to accept and execute multiple Grants of Easement pursuant to the authority of Article 17 from the May 17, 2024 Annual Town Meeting. The motions (moved by Select Board Member Gardner Trask and seconded by Select Board Member Michael Bean) accepted easements from several parties to maintain sewer facilities and recorded document numbers on Certificate of Title, with readings into the record that included Document Nos. 656462, 656672 and 656489 at the Essex South Registry District of the Land Court.
The minutes record the motions, movers and seconders for the easements and the 3-1 votes on the licenses; no additional conditions or amendments to the licenses or easements were recorded in the meeting minutes.
