Danvers says snow budget is fully expended after major storm; Board weighing options to cover shortfall

The Manager told the Board that staff are reviewing options to cover the shortfall, including use of DPW reserves or transfers from the general fund. The meeting record does not show a final decision; the Board instructed staff to continue evaluating options and present recommendations.
During public comment, Bill Bradstreet asked, "How is the snow budget?" and Bill McKenzie praised DPW’s efforts and police enforcement during the storm. The Board thanked DPW staff for the response and recognized Town Clerk Anne Freitas for 30+ years of service at the meeting.
