Green Isle council approves fee schedule, utility delinquency assessment and other routine items

The Green Isle City Council approved several routine resolutions and motions at its Jan. 14, 2025 meeting.
On a roll-call vote, the council approved Resolution 2025-D01 (fee schedule); the roll call recorded Sean: yes, Mark: yes, Shane: yes, Hunter: yes. Council also approved a resolution to assess delinquent 2024 utility bills to property taxes for collection in 2025, and it approved claims for Jan. 14, 2025 totaling $70,831.36.
Council approved minutes from the Dec. 26 meeting and other consent-agenda items by voice vote. A separate resolution on meeting dates for fire relief/fire-board dates was tabled to allow staff to compile a single correct document. An ordinance updating truck routes (Ordinance 2024-03) was tabled after staff reported missing original documents; staff will search records and may ask the engineering firm ISG to provide guidance.
Council made appointments to committees and boards (a personnel list included the addition of Caitlyn Pon to the tree committee) and noted typographical corrections to the resolution numbering.
The council indicated staff will return with corrected documents and further information at upcoming meetings.
