Drainage Board approves a series of non‑enforcement requests for fences, landscaping and small improvements

On June 8 the Hamilton County Drainage Board approved a lengthy set of non‑enforcement requests filed with the Surveyor’s Office. The requests covered a variety of small‑scale improvements—primarily fences, landscaping, a deck and pool, and pole replacement—across multiple regulated drains including Thistlewaite, Intercoastal at Geist, Williams Creek, George Seybold, Crooked Creek, Vestal‑Kirkendall, Towne Lake and others.
Surveyor staff presented each request and recommended approval. After staff presentations, Member Steven C. Dillinger moved to approve the non‑enforcement requests as presented; Heirbrandt seconded and the Board voted unanimously to approve the items. The Surveyor’s Office will record approvals in the permanent files and proceed with issuing any required documentation.
Separately, the Board approved a subdivision non‑enforcement for the Fred Seeright Drain (Hamilton County Regional Utility District) subject to future ratification, and the Board approved a non‑enforcement for the Emily Vestal Drain / Noblesville Sanitary Sewer Lift Station #20 after noting staff had only recently received the materials and requested additional review time but voted to approve to allow project planning to continue.
The approvals were recorded as motions approved unanimously.
