Township staff recommends continuing with Infradapt for IT services under updated agreement

At the June 22 workshop, staff reviewed the township’s IT services arrangement with Infradapt and recommended that the board consider renewing or approving a revised agreement.
Bruce told the board Infradapt has served as the township's provider since about 2020 and that the current agreement expired at the end of last year. Staff are negotiating contract language with the solicitor’s office and propose a longer term (approximately four years) at roughly $8,200 per month — an increase from prior monthly costs in the roughly $7,000 range. The proposed scope includes networking systems, management of outside IT vendors, and hosting the township voice‑over‑IP phone system.
Regarding carrier services, staff clarified the 5,000‑minute bundle referenced in the draft is for the township’s VOIP phone system, not cell service, and said current usage has not triggered overage charges.
Staff recommended the board consider Infradapt pending final contract edits and solicitor review; no formal authorization took place at the workshop.
