The Eldridge City Utility Board met at 5:00 p.m. and approved the evening's agenda, the Oct. 7, 2025 meeting minutes and the bills payable before hearing routine departmental updates.
Board members voiced their support for each procedural item. A motion to approve the agenda was made by Povich and seconded by Peterson; the chair called the vote and the motion passed. The Oct. 7 minutes were approved following a motion by Pekovich and a second by Gooding. Under financial business, a motion by Pavage and a second by Hamilton carried approval of the bills payable.
In a short financial-administrative update, Satie said auditors were on site last week and staff provided requested reports and documents. Satie also reported that signed documents for the JDA and an amended membership agreement for IPA and the initial seed money were sent, and noted attendance at a new-law workshop on Thursday.
The board took no public comment and adjourned following a motion by the mayor that was seconded by Hamilton.
The meeting record shows no contentious votes or public testimony; items advanced as routine business and staff updates will return as needed on future agendas.
