Butler County supervisors approve OPEB service agreement, permit and two DOT bridge agreements

During its June 9 meeting the Butler County Board of Supervisors approved several routine administrative items by unanimous vote, including an OPEB service agreement, a utility permit and two Iowa Department of Transportation federal-aid agreements for bridge replacements.
The board approved the HUB GASB 75 OPEB Service Agreement and granted Butler County REC a permit for underground service at 25831 195th St. It also approved Iowa DOT Federal-Aid Agreement 2-26-HBP-S-013 for a bridge replacement on Jay Avenue north of 290th Street and Agreement 2-26-HBP-S-014 for a bridge replacement on Liberty Avenue north of 320th Street. Each motion carried with “All ayes.”
These approvals advance planned infrastructure work and routine financial and utility administration; the board recorded the votes in the minutes and moved on to other agenda items.
