Following the hearing, Commissioner Gary Richardson moved to approve Board Order 2026-014 and the board recorded a unanimous roll-call vote in favor. Commissioner Ron Smith moved to approve Board Order 2026-015; that motion likewise passed 3-0.
The annexations add rural parcels to the service area of the Josephine Community Library District; the record lists each petition by assessor map/tax lot and acreage (Board Order 2026-014: map/tax lot 41-08-10-00-000601-00, 56.49 acres; Board Order 2026-015: map/tax lot 39-05-18-00-000102-00, 13.33 acres). The minutes indicate these were processed under the landowner-petition procedure rather than voter election.
The hearing was closed at 9:02 a.m.; the board took no further action on the annexations during this session. The approvals become part of the county’s official record as Board Orders 2026-014 and 2026-015.
