Board members discussed whether the gate was necessary for security; one member said allowing vehicles closer for camera monitoring could be more effective, while another noted the applicant’s safety concerns. The board voted to approve BZA 2616, adopting the two conditions recommended by staff; the roll call recorded four votes in favor and one no vote.
