Southampton committee approves BEMS landfill redevelopment designations and solar farm sale; one vote in opposition

Young Sr. cast the only no vote on all three resolutions.
Mayor Michael Mikulski, Committeewoman Elizabeth Rossell, Deputy Mayor William Raftery, and Committeeman Ronald Heston voted to adopt the resolutions. The meeting minutes record no further public debate during the roll call on these items.
Prior to these votes the committee also accepted a separate Planning Board recommendation (Resolution 2020-76) designating certain lots near Red Lion Circle a non-condemnation redevelopment area; that resolution passed unanimously.
