The Bartlett Board of Mayor and Aldermen on June 23 appointed Christy Franco as the city’s director of finance and administered her oath of office.
The board nominated and approved Franco by unanimous consent; officials said she has served in the finance department as assistant finance director and will replace current Finance Director Dick Feebas, who is retiring effective July 31. During the swearing‑in ceremony Franco repeated the oath and offered brief remarks thanking the mayor and the board for the appointment and acknowledging Feebas’s work.
Mayor Parsons invited Franco and her family to sign the appointment documents after the meeting. Franco said she appreciates the opportunity and that Feebas has “put together a great team” for her to inherit; she added that Feebas agreed to take calls if she needs assistance.
