Staff said two contractors submitted quotes and recommended awarding the work to Deets Builders, the lowest responsible bidder. The solicitation included a project completion deadline of Oct. 18, and the city will require a performance bond as a condition of contract execution.
Council moved to award the project to Deets Builders and the motion carried. Staff said they would finalize contract terms and require the performance bond prior to starting work; staff also noted contractors may not begin pool‑area work until the pool is closed, per solicitation terms.
