Diana asked the board to consider moving the parks committee meeting date to avoid conflicts with neighborhood association meetings and requested that the board post a link to the strategic-planning document for member feedback.
Mr. Press told the committee he had filed two FOIL requests with the district manager and the borough president's office and pressed for transparency on who submitted proposed bylaw amendments. "Who is submitting amendments to the bylaws? I think this board should be announcing that this amendment has been sent in by so-and-so," he said, and asked that the board make submitter names public when appropriate.
Roxan raised technical and access issues: they said they were blocked from unmuting and from using chat during a prior meeting and said they had recordings and screenshots they would forward for investigation. "I have the video of me being blocked from chatting and for me being not allowed to unmute myself," Roxan said. Staff acknowledged receipt of FOILs and said they would respond by the stated deadline.
Board staff agreed to work on the missing meeting minutes (March–May) and to post the strategic-planning link in the agenda materials. Committee leadership asked staff to investigate the reported blocking/unmute incident and to follow up with the members who reported missing minutes and FOIL delays. The committee took no disciplinary action in this session; commenters asked the board to ensure transparency and timely responses to public-record requests.
