After rounds of committee feedback and voting, the committee narrowed the attributes to four core competencies: communication, resilience (described as "embracing growth" in final language), critical thinking and integrity.
Staff showed two poster designs — a child‑friendly elementary poster and a photographic secondary poster — and explained rollout steps such as QR codes linking to supporting resources, pilot classroom activities and teacher training. Trustees praised the collaborative, local process and requested plans for classroom implementation and ongoing assessment.
The board approved the adoption motion 5–0.
