Exeter council approves consent items, accepts E250 banner donation and greenlights decorative crosswalk pilot

The consent calendar passed 5-0.
Donation acceptance: the council approved the Exeter 250th (E250) Committee’s donation of patriotic and promotional banners for installation on city light poles. City Administrator Jason Ridenour presented the request; there was no public comment. The motion passed 5-0.
Decorative crosswalk pilot: City Engineer Javier Andrade presented a pilot decorative crosswalk project on State Route 65 at San Juan Avenue. The council adopted Resolution No. 2026-10 authorizing the pilot project; the vote was 5-0.
Budget review: the council reviewed the preliminary biennial budget for fiscal years 2026–27 and 2027–28; this item was informational only and no formal action was taken.
