The Oneida County Planning and Development Committee on April 1 approved a preliminary nine‑lot County Plat for Silverbass Ridge Estates, lands owned by Scott and Tammy Roehl and submitted by Wilderness Surveying (James D. Rein, surveyor). Staff recommended conditions before final recording that the county land information office approve addressing and 911 information and that required certificates and signatures be obtained prior to recording; the committee also directed that the final plat note a 150‑foot access restriction from the intersection of Northwestern Drive and Forest Lane.
Why it matters: The approval advances a nine‑lot subdivision toward final recording while placing a recorded access restriction intended to manage vehicle access and sight‑line or safety concerns at a nearby intersection.
Staff presentation and conditions: Assistant Zoning Director Todd Troskey and Land Use Specialist Scott Ridderbusch presented the preliminary plat and suggested conditions of approval. Staff asked that addressing and 911 information be approved by Oneida County Land Information, that proper certificates and signatures be obtained before recording the final plat, and that a 150‑foot access restriction be noted on the final plat measured from the intersection of Northwestern Drive and Forest Lane.
Committee action and next steps: Committee member Dan Hess moved to approve the item with the two conditions presented and with the added 150‑foot access restriction; Mitch Ives seconded the motion. With all members present voting “Aye,” the motion carried. The final plat may be recorded after staff confirms addressing/911 data and the required certificates and signatures are provided.
The committee also received an informational update on Planning & Zoning permit activity and revenue and set future meeting dates for April 15 and April 29, 2026, before adjourning at 1:26 p.m.
