Agency council approves seven-year Waste Management contract and sets $20 fee for extra trash can

The Agency City Council on Oct. 10 approved a seven-year service agreement with Waste Management to supply 96-gallon recycling carts to residents who subscribe to city trash collection and to provide biweekly recycling pickup. Ms. Douglas moved to approve Resolution 2024-15; the motion passed on a roll-call vote.

Under the contract, Waste Management will provide the recycling carts and perform biweekly collection.
