Council member Steve O'Brien moved to approve Resolution 2024-17 (annual financial/street report); Council member Jacoby Deshler seconded and the measure passed on a roll call vote with Sara Jane Douglas, Jacoby Deshler, Steve O'Brien and Samantha Ulin voting yes and Birch absent. The council then approved Resolution 2024-18 (full‑time maintenance pay, benefits and holidays); Resolution 2024-19 (maintenance contract wage); Resolution 2024-20 (part‑time city clerk pay, benefits and holidays); Resolution 2024-21 (part‑time deputy city clerk pay, benefits and holidays); and Resolution 2024-22 (part‑time library director pay, benefits and holidays). Each resolution passed by roll call vote with the same four affirmative votes and one member absent.
The resolutions were presented as routine, noncontroversial measures setting pay or affirming the annual financial reporting for the city. The meeting minutes record no amendments or dissent on the items.
