The Agency City Council voted Feb. 13 to accept a $14,700 bid from Tyler Batterson to mow the city cemetery for the 2025 season, covering April 1 through Oct. 31.
Mayor Pro‑Tem Samantha Ulin opened the single bid and noted Batterson has mowed the cemetery the last two years. Councilmember Sara Jane Douglas moved to accept the bid; Councilmember Steve O’Brien seconded and the motion passed by roll call with Councilmembers Deshler, Douglas, O’Brien and Ulin voting yes (Councilmember Birch was absent).
The contract award secures maintenance for the coming growing season; council members did not record additional contract terms during the meeting. The accepted bid and vote conclude the council’s review of cemetery mowing for 2025.
