Agency City Council approves cemetery clean-up purchase, donations and a budget amendment

At the start of new business, Council member Sara Jane Douglas moved and Council member Andrew Birch seconded the purchase of two five‑gallon buckets of cemetery cleaning solution; the council’s roll call vote recorded Birch, Deshler, Douglas, O’Brien and Ulin as voting aye and the purchase was approved. Separately, the council approved donating framed graduating‑class photos from Agency School to the Agency City Library; the library’s Kathleen Caldwell requested the pictures for a planned local‑history project and the council voted unanimously to transfer them.
Minutes record the council’s approval of a budget‑amendment resolution described in the agenda header as “RESOLUTION 2024‑13 – BUDGET AMMENDMENT FY 23/24.” The motion text in the minutes refers to “Resolution 2024‑12,” but the roll call and final line record that Resolution 2024‑13 passed. The minutes show ayes from O’Brien, Douglas, Birch and Deshler and list Ulin as absent in that roll call section; the minutes nevertheless record the resolution as passed.
