Spanarkel told the board he would consent to extending the statutory review period; the chair recorded that the statutory time for completing the application would be extended through Sept. 18, 2026. The chair announced no additional public notice will be provided and interested parties should plan to appear at the Sept. 17 meeting if they wish to follow the application.
No testimony on the merits was heard that night because the applicant asked to carry, and the board accepted the applicant’s request rather than proceed without a full seven‑member board. The item will appear on the board’s agenda on Sept. 17; the applicant recorded the extension of statutory time on the record.
