The Dubois County Solid Waste Management District Board of Directors met Oct. 20 and unanimously approved claims for September and October and accepted the minutes of the board’s Aug. 18 meeting.
Controller Martha A. Wehr told the board the district’s checking account balance was $265,916.92. On a motion by Chad A. Blessinger, seconded by Serice Stenftenagel, the board approved the presented claims; the meeting record notes the claims were “unanimously accepted by all board members.” Later, Dean M. Vonderheide moved to accept the Aug. 18 minutes; Vince Helming seconded and the minutes were unanimously accepted.
The meeting record lists itemized claims and vendors for the two months, including payments to WM Corporate Services, Invironmental Technologies, SynEnergy, Dubois REC and others; specific line-item amounts were entered in the meeting materials. The record does not show an itemized roll-call tally beyond the notation that all board members voted in favor.
The board’s formal actions on claims and minutes were routine approvals and required no immediate follow-up. The next board meeting is scheduled for Dec. 15, 2025, at 7:30 a.m. in the Annex Conference Room.
