The Dubois County Commissioners approved a set of routine but consequential administrative actions on Nov. 3.
Recorder Jackie McPherron asked the board to approve Schedule D to the Fidlar recording‑software contract (adding Laredo, Tapestry, Property Fraud Alert, Honor Rewards and public subscription features); the board voted to approve the amendment. Assessor Angela Giesler recommended awarding the 2026–2030 cyclical reassessment contract to Tyler Technologies after review of the only bid; the board accepted the recommendation and Giesler will sign the contract when it arrives. Human Resources Generalist Markie Rhodes recommended rescinding a prior motion to switch large case management from Hines to Unified Care Connect after higher than expected implementation costs were disclosed; the board rescinded the motion and confirmed the county will continue using Hines in 2026.
Rhodes also requested extended medical leave for a 10‑year employee through Dec. 8, 2025; the board approved a 30‑day extension. The board approved proceeding with a wage‑study engagement with Waggoner Irwin Scheele & Associates not to exceed $60,000, pending County Council funding. Auditor Sandra L. Morton presented items to be declared surplus (including a copier and several 911 radios and an antenna); the board declared the listed items surplus.
These motions were recorded in the minutes as "duly seconded and carried" where noted; the transcript does not include roll‑call tallies.
