The Longswamp Township Board on March 10 adopted a revised Comprehensive Fee Schedule that updates rates for park pavilion rentals and field usage and creates a reduced-fee waiver for eligible applicants.
During old-business consideration of Resolution 2026-08 the board agreed on different fee tiers for residents and nonresidents: resident pavilion rental fees are $125 per pavilion (with a $50 deposit); Hunsicker's Grove large pavilion is $200 and both pavilions together $325. Nonresident pavilion fees are higher (Pavilion #1 and #2 at $250 each; Hunsicker's Grove large pavilion $350; both pavilions $500). The board also set a field-usage fee at $500 per season plus a $50 application fee.
The board approved a Fee Waiver application that, if granted, would reduce a pavilion rental to $50 for eligible applicants; the waiver is intended to cover cleaning and supplies required to maintain pavilion facilities. Mike Sacks moved to adopt the fee changes as noted and Mark Hilbert seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The changes take effect upon adoption and were recorded in the minutes as Resolution 2026-08. The minutes do not specify an effective date other than the adoption date; staff were instructed to implement the new schedule in fee-processing systems and to receive reduced-fee applications per the new procedure.
