Committee proposes senior resource packet and outreach at health fair

The Chair offered to contact Becky Rash, leader of the local senior citizens group, to determine whether an existing packet already covers the same needs and to avoid duplicating work.
Members recommended representing the committee at the upcoming health and wellness fair with printed handouts or a staffed table; they noted grant programs such as AARP might help offset printing costs. The group agreed to follow up with the senior group and report back this week on whether the seniors already have consolidated materials.
The committee did not take formal action on funding; the Chair volunteered to reach out and coordinate follow-up.
