Beacon Falls library reports 636 program attendees and 1,916 circulations in May

At the June 23 special meeting the Beacon Falls Library Board of Trustees reviewed the library's May service report. Library Director Elizabeth Setaro-Posick reported total program attendance of 636 for May: 128 attendees at adult programs, 267 adults attending child programs, and 241 children participating in child programs. The director reported 1,916 items circulated in May.
Setaro-Posick also reported usage details and trends: 31 unique public-computer users logged 21 hours in May and four patrons used notary services. New patron registrations totaled 22 for the month (18 adults and 4 children). The director identified notable growth areas including adult books, juvenile materials and videos, audiobooks/downloadables, digital music and video downloads, and family passes.
Trustees recorded the figures and discussed outreach and programming plans to support continued growth. The library is tracking reading minutes and program participation using Beanstack during the summer reading campaign.
