Council approves a package of small funding agreements from adopted budget

After approving the FY2027 budget, the council authorized a series of funding agreements that were contained in the budget packet.
Operation Threshold, Inc.: Council approved a $2,000 funding agreement to Operation Threshold from general funds; the vote passed 6-1. A councilmember queried whether the funding was general funds rather than hotel/motel funds; staff confirmed it was general funds.
Buchanan County Senior Center: Council approved a $1,000 funding agreement from hotel/motel funds for the senior center; the vote passed unanimously, 7-0.
Buchanan County Tourism: Council approved a $5,000 hotel/motel fund agreement for Buchanan County Tourism; roll call recorded a 6-1 vote.
