Keota board approves slate of purchases, grant submission and curriculum adoptions

Among the vendor approvals, the board authorized purchase of a 2027 Blue Bird propane bus from School Bus Sales; approved a quote from Electronic Engineering for gym cameras; purchased seven Dell laptops for the TAG program from Dell Technologies; and authorized acquisition of seven BenQ RP04 displays and trolleys from Midwest Computer Products. The board also accepted proposals for epoxy flooring (Roder Epoxy), tuckpointing (H3 Masonry), and sealcoating the student parking lot and flagpole area (LL Pelling). Each item was approved by motion and carried 5-0.
The board approved grading and seeding work around the district's solar panels from Strabala Grounds Management and accepted a proposal from LL Pelling for sealcoat. It also approved a three-year auditor contract with Barr & Company LLC for FY26–FY28 following a recommendation from Business Manager Amy Greiner.
On extracurricular and facilities support, the board authorized submission of a Washington County Riverboat Foundation grant by Keota Athletic Boosters to fund softball field improvements; Keota Schools committed $10,000 to supplement that project.
The board adopted two math curriculum purchases: a Pearson curriculum recommended by High School Principal Rosewall, and a separate approval for an AGA math curriculum (the transcript does not specify who recommended the AGA program). The board accepted the second reading of Board Policy 506.01 and waived the third reading.
