Council awards Justin Trail North restoration to low bidder Arc Paving at $14,500

A staff speaker reminded the council that for projects at this cost threshold the city must solicit at least two quotes and award to the lowest responsible bidder; staff noted the city’s own paving crew may also be considered a responsible bidder.
Council member Cornet moved to accept Arc Paving’s $14,500 bid; the motion was seconded and passed by roll call with Council members Cornet, Rag, Cremona, Anderson and Mayor Ger recorded as voting in favor.
The approved amount covers removal and restoration only. Staff did not present a separate funding source package during the discussion; the council did not amend the scope on the record.
Next steps: staff will finalize the purchase order/contract and schedule the work with Arc Paving.
