Assessment finds about $1.1 billion in school facility needs over 10 years

Vaughn also noted county staff had established "option C" as the county's initial target for the bond, without specifying the project list attached to that option during this meeting. The committee did not vote on a bond amount or specific project list at this meeting; the session focused on assessment results and next steps for outreach and procurement of PR support.
The committee scheduled follow‑up work on public relations procurement and agreed to reconvene on Aug. 20 to continue planning.
