Petition to abandon alley in Barry Addition postponed after missing signatures

At 1:30 p.m. petitioners Lindsay and Cameron Anderson presented a request to abandon the west 20 feet along Lots 1–5 of Block 9 in the Barry Addition to Roberts, Montana. Administrative Officer Angela Newell informed the Andersons there was a misinterpretation of petition regulations: the petition lacked three required signatures necessary for the commissioners to approve abandonment.
Deputy Clerk Katrina Kruger and staff confirmed the procedural requirement. Commissioner Bill Bullock postponed consideration until the Andersons obtain the additional signatures; the Andersons and Kruger left the meeting at the conclusion of the discussion. No further action was taken and the item will return to a future agenda only after petitioners supply the missing signatures.
