Big Bear City CSD adopts three unanimous resolutions on asset sale, sewer plan update and solid-waste vehicle purchases

Resolution 2026-07 authorizes a budget amendment to increase funds, not to exceed $27,830, to update the Sewer System Management Plan (SSMP) and Spill Emergency Response Plan (SERP) after the State Water Board reissued Waste Discharge Requirements that move the District’s SSMP update deadline to May 2, 2026. Resolution 2026-08 approves a budget amendment to purchase two solid-waste vehicles — a side-loader for $525,696.71 and a rear-loader for $473,114.69 — to be funded from fund balance reserves.
All three resolutions were adopted by the full Board with aye votes recorded for Bob Rowe, JoKay Rowe, John Russo, Larry Walsh and Al Ziegler. The minutes do not record any dissenting remarks or amendments to the resolutions.
