The Sawyer County Economic Development and UW‑Extension Committee approved the minutes from its Aug. 5, 2024 meeting during the Sept. 9 session. Tom Duffy moved to approve the minutes and Vice Chair Stacey Hessel seconded; the motion "carried without negative vote," according to the minutes.
The committee then received several routine reports and written materials, including a brief account that the August county fair appeared to be successful and written library reports. A Northwest Regional Planning Commission item and a Historical Society item were on the agenda but the minutes record no substantive discussion for those entries.
The committee set its next meeting for Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. in the Sawyer County Board Room. The meeting adjourned at 9:09 a.m.; minutes were recorded by County Clerk Lynn Fitch.
