Staff reported that most 2027 grant agreements, budgets and scopes of work are finalized and that grant agreements are being routed for signatures. The presenter said staff will follow up with committee members on the final review schedule.
A staff member (Jennifer) said the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) is transitioning to the federal fiscal year (Oct. 1–Sept. 30), which creates a transitional five-quarter arrangement that may make the committee’s year-end reporting (the CAPER) appear different this cycle. She said staff are working through contracting and reporting logistics and expect the timing to normalize next year.
During member reports, one member said fencing and initial demolition had begun at the Goodwill site and other members noted progress on the site’s groundbreaking and signage.
The meeting concluded after the committee agreed by voice to skip its usual July and August meetings and then moved and seconded adjournment.
