Nations said Forged Fiber operates as a wholesale provider and that AT&T Fiber would be the initial anchor service provider; the network is intended to be open access to allow additional providers to attach in the future. Clerk McClain and staff answered procedural questions and confirmed materials on file.
Council members had no further questions after the presentation, moved and seconded adoption of the ordinance, and recorded unanimous voice approval.
Next steps: Staff will coordinate permitting implementation with the applicant and monitor the timeline for construction and tenant onboarding; the permit includes standard conditions and city coordination for right-of-way and construction impacts.
