Allamakee board accepts Allan Rissman's resignation; Jesse Delaney sworn, Erik Helgerson elected president

Jaime Curtin, the Board Secretary, called for a motion to accept Rissman's resignation. Scott Melcher moved and Erik Helgerson seconded the motion to accept the resignation; the motion carried on a unanimous 'all ayes' vote (board members present: Allan Rissman, Kelly Deeney, Beth Shafer, Erik Helgerson, Scott Melcher and Jesse Delaney; vote tally recorded as 6 yes, 0 no). The board then administered the Oath of Office to Jesse Delaney, who had been appointed at a special meeting on Sept. 6, 2024.
In the reorganization that followed, Beth Shafer moved and Jesse Delaney seconded the nomination of Erik Helgerson as Board President; the motion passed 'all ayes' and Jaime Curtin administered the Oath of Office. Scott Melcher moved and Beth Shafer seconded the nomination of Kelly Deeney as Vice President; the motion likewise passed unanimously. These officer changes took effect immediately.
The board's motions on leadership and the oath were recorded in the meeting minutes; no additional conditions or contested ballots were noted.
