The Buhl City Council took several administrative steps December 2 to prepare for the incoming City Clerk/Treasurer and to update financial signatories.
Council authorized Robecca Jaeger to be an account agent and a City of Buhl Business VISA cardholder effective December 8, 2025, removed Anthony Jeffries from the account effective January 1, 2026, and delegated Finance Manager Dianna Thronson authority to make name changes or cancellations on city credit cards as appropriate. Councilor Towner moved the authorization, Councilor Teska‑Erickson supported it, and the motion carried unanimously. The minutes note this action does not itself authorize Jaeger to spend city funds until formal disbursement authority is granted.
Council also adopted Resolution 25‑45 to authorize signers for disbursement of public funds for the remainder of 2025; the roll call vote recorded Kealy, Loeffler, Teska‑Erickson, Towner and Mayor Matthews as 'Aye.' The minutes state that bank signatory cards and clear supporting minutes will be updated to effect the changes.
The council discussed the incoming clerk selection process and recessed into closed session to consider the employment agreement; at the closed session’s close the council scheduled a Special City Council Meeting for 5:30 p.m. on December 11, 2025, to discuss and potentially approve the clerk’s employment agreement.
