Buhl council approves special street assessment certificates for Whiteside, Woodbridge and East Woodbridge

The Buhl City Council voted Nov. 18 to approve certificates to the St. Louis County Auditor for outstanding special street assessments tied to prior street improvements.
Council approved certification of the 5th installment for the Whiteside and Woodbridge Avenues assessment (originally levied April 20, 2021) for inclusion on 2026 property tax statements. Council also approved the 4th installment certification for the East Woodbridge Avenue assessment. Councilor Kealy moved both motions; both carried unanimously.
City staff said these certificates are standard annual procedures to collect unpaid special assessment installments spread over multiple years and will be transmitted to the county auditor for collection on 2026 property tax statements.
